Emel:Hi guys!
Özlem:Hi!
Emel:Is there any camera around here? I want to tell you something.
Gülperi:No, there is not camera. What's the matter?
Emel:Do you remember the forbidden room which we wonder about?
İsmail:Yes, of course.
Emel:The thing which I want to tell is about that room.
Gülperi:What happened?
Özlem:But,be careful...Maybe thedirector can hear us.
Emel:Ok!I entered that room.Than, I saw a strange book and I started to read.It's caled Bible.
İsmail:Bible!What is it bible.
Emel:It's about religion whichis called Christianity.There is a god and all th people worship him.
Gülperi:God!What is God?
İsmail:Is God like Ford?
Gülperi:Should we worship?How can we worship Ford?I can not understand what you mean?
İsmail:Me, too?
Emel:At first I didn't understand,too.I started to understand as I was reading.
İsmail:Is there anyone else except God?
Emel:Yes, Jesus, God's son.
Gülperi:Son!
Özlem:Does Ford have a son, as well?
İsmail:Does Ford have a book, also?
Gülperi:It's very complicated.I want to have more information about this book?
Özlem:Listen to me!We should go that room tomorrow morning.
İsmail:Yes,it is very exciting.
Emel:Ok!I'll take you there.I learned the way to go to that room.
Gülperi:But, don't tell anyone about this.

Today we acted our diologue, but we had a misfortune. Yesterday I mentioned that Ali won't come on wednesday and he didn't come, Özlem helped us and she participated in our diologue instead of Ali. Thanks a lot Özlem.

DIALOGUE

__Burcu: Hi! I am from the savage reservation but I don’t know anything about your world. I wonder what kind of a world you are living.

__Mehmet: It is the brave new world. We don’t believe your religions or god or holy books. We only believe in FORD.

__Miray: We have soma, so we are always happy and relaxed.We don’t care about anything.

__Mehmet: We are always safe and we are never ill. Also we don’t know about old age.

__Miray: We aren’t worried about mothers or fathers. We never become pregnant, so we haven’t got a child responsibility. Of course the most important thing in our world is that you aren’t afraid of death.

__Mehmet: In addition to this, in our world there are five groups. These are Alphas, Betas, Gammas, Deltas and Epsilons. You can choose one of them. For example I am an Alpha.

__Miray: I am a beta girl.

__Emrah: And I am a Delta

__Burcu: OK. Which one is good for me? What do you do in daily life? Because I don’t know anything about your groups. What kind of responsibilities do you have in brave new world. Can you explain?

__Mehmet: I am an Alpha that means We are the intellectuals of the society. We are very clever and also we have been well conditioned. The Alpha’s embryos are destined to become the leaders and thinkers of the World State. All agricultural and industrial equipment were handed over to us. Also we always wear grey but because of our intelligence.We must apply brain quiz for people who come from savage reservation so if you want, we can do it immediately.

__Burcu: I am not sure ıf I should attend your brain quiz. Firstly I want to listen to beta girl before I decided.

__ Miray: Okay. I am very glad because of your decision. I am Lenina and I am a beta girl. Betas are more clever than gammas, deltas and epsilons. We are very atractive and also beta girls are very beautiful as you see. We don’t work as hard as alphas do. However, we also work at important jobs. For example I am working in hatchery where children produced from those eggs. At the same time we aren’t pleasant with other groups. Epsilons are too stupid to be able to read or write. They always wear black which is such a nasty colour. As you know we don’t have babies so we don’t care sex. If we want a man we sleep with him without thinking.

__Burcu:Hımm!!that sounds good. It is very interesting. What do you think about me. Can I be a beta girl?

__Miray: Why not!!

__Emrah: Please listen to me. We are deltas. We wear khaki. Our responsibilities are serving.

__Miray: But you hate books and flowers.

__Burcu: Why???

__Emrah: I don’t know!!!

__ Burcu: Ok! I understand!!

__Mehmet: So what do you think about our world?

__Burcu: Some of the things are really good! For example you aren’t afraid of anything and you are always young but Alphas work a lot so it is not suitable for me and if I think about betas you are narcist. You haven’t got any emotion. It is very interesting. I don’t know how I can get used to your rules but I know I don’t want to be a Delta ((( she comes near us and say slighty))) I guess they are very stupid. Arent they?(they smile at burcu)

__Mehmet: It’s ok. Don’t worry. You can stay here for some weeks and then you learn our world and it will be easier to decide.we need to find you a place to stay.

__Miray: If you want you can work with me in the hatchery..

__Burcu: Ok. That’s a good idea

__Emrah: no no!!! please come with me and help me for cleaning and serving.(he insists on going with her)

__Mehmet: ok. she will come to helping you.but not now.ok?

__Burcu: yes. I promise but I have some baggage.

__Emrah: Ok ok. I can carry them.That’s my duty.

(Miray, Mehmet and burcu stare at Emrah like he is a moron)

BİG APOLOGİZE

Mine I want to apologize on behalf of myself and my group, I know we are very late and because of this we are very sorry. I'm Emel and our group's name is UNFORGIVEN.I'm the group leader and my group mates are Gülperi, Ismail and Ali. We started our project a little bit late because of our bad luck. Last week Gülperi didn't came school. Nearly 8 days ago, while I was in my friends house, Ali, Gülperi and I spoke on the net, but I haven't got internet in my house due to we couldn't communicate again one the net. We wrote a diologue,but previous weekend Ali went to the Bursa and he said that he won't come on wednesday and this diologue was a little bit rediculous so we cancel this diologue, and we wrote a new diologue, and we are going to act it tomorrow.

Ö:Let's bring other hatchery
Then Ceyda and Başak bring Mutlu and they make him sit down.They start to educate him.Suddenly...
M:Hey-whe-re-is-my-mum?mum?
B:What?Mum?How can he know this word?
C:I don't know but I think there is a problem here.He looks stranger than others.
Ö:Don't worry.We will control everything.Our system is faultless so the problem can be solved easily with some soma.
M:Hey men,I asked a question to you. (Then he asked the class and...) Are you my mum?Hı...Hı?
C:Be calm and take a soma.
Mutlu takes a soma.
M:It tastes toxic. (than throw it to bin)
B:He is a pain in the neck.I can't stand him.
C:Be patient.
Ö:Let's start our pretty lesson.
They show a flower to Mutlu
C:OK.It looks disgusting, doesn't it?
M:Why do you say that?It smells wonderful.
Ö:Let's press the botton.
They give him an electroshock
B:Now.What do you think about that?
M:(He start crying) I want to give this flower to my mother.I love flowers.Give me some more electroshock.
Then he gives the flower his mother who he thinks is the mother
C:He shouldn't have liked flowers.What's wrong with him.
B:Why is he conditioned in the wrong way?What more can we do?
Ö:I have no idea and I start to get frighetened.
C:I think we must take him to the director.
B:Stand up and walk please.We will go somewhere.
M:Where are we going?I want to learn that before we go there!
C:It's not your business.
Ö:So it's time to give him some sleeping pills.
And Mutlu starts to run away...

firstLy i want to apoLogize for our group's latency.. I had left my notebook at dormitory then suddenLy I realized that my mother's notebook is at service too. But it was too late =). So a few days I hadn't got any pc to connect here then my father send a notebook to me yesterday. From now on I'm here.. I aLso want to apoLogize from my group mates..
Anyway we are taLking on msn now and we have decided to caLL our group is "SpongeBobLovers". Last week I was joking about this name but mine love it so we love it. =)

hi mine yesterday we met on the internet and we have been starting to write our sketch and most of them was finished.All members of Ubermensch came but Emrah was sick so he left early and we went on studying. Now we are writing last part of sketch.Burcu will investigate about pronunciation and I will interested in costumes.After the holiday we will meet outside in istanbul and we will check our costumes,pronunciation,grammar and we will rehearse on sketch. Mehmet will take photographs so Mehmet is photographer of our group=)).In our sketch One of us come from savage reservation and the others are from brave new world.New world's people convince to person who comes savage reservation and it has become to develop this main idea.

hi mine our group name is ubermensch and my group members are mehmet burcu and emrah.mehmet posted me our sketch and I send it my group members now I am writting on blog((You are to select four of the five groups, in order words, one of you will be an Alpha, one will be a Beta, one will be a Gamma, one will be a Delta or an Epsilon. There are some people who have just been introduced to system of the new world. Each one of you will try to convince them to join the group you belong to. Every one of you should be given some time to talk to explain the features of your group. After that, you all can contribute to the persusaion talk)) we talked about our project and decided to meet on the internet tomorrow. we think our dialogues until our meeting then tomorrow we will choose duty for each members. My dear students,

Due to the long (unexpected) holiday, the deadline for the project has been postponed to May 2, Friday. However, I expect to see:

• the group names
• names of the members for each group
• their responsibilities within the group
• sketches they choose
• a study plan of their work ( when they will meet, how they will write their dialogues-online possible- and so on.)
• and finally the dialogues

The dialogues will be written by April 18, Friday. The sketches will be performed on May 2, Friday.
